Vice President, Teamsters LGBTQ+ Caucus

Jonathon Kycek has proudly served as a Business Agent with the Teamsters since 2020. He has over 15 years of experience as a package car driver at UPS in Maple Grove. Jonathon holds a bachelor's degree from North Central University, which has equipped him with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively advocate for union members.  

He is passionate about his role and often reminds himself of the mantra, "Always for the member." This phrase reflects his commitment to the members he serves and embodies the purpose behind his work. Jonathon believes that being a union member is like having a Netflix subscription—it's an investment that should enhance one's life.  

In his position, Jonathon recognizes the significant responsibility he has to advocate for union members, hold companies accountable, and address workplace issues. His dedication extends beyond the present; he actively participates in shaping equitable contracts for the future. As part of the Teamsters LGBTQ+ Caucus, he is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and advocates for the rights of all members within the union.
