Elbe Lieb, LU-135

Elbe Lieb is a dedicated advocate and seasoned UPS Teamster with 27 years of experience, proudly representing LU-135. Raised in Northern Illinois, she joined UPS in 1996 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from DePaul University. Throughout her career, Lieb has been actively involved in union initiatives, tirelessly working for better working conditions and democratic reforms.

As a prominent advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Lieb co-founded a support group for transgender individuals and has collaborated with various civil advocacy organizations. In her role as the Midwest Director for the LGBTQ+ International Brotherhood of Teamsters, she is committed to leveraging her extensive experience and advocacy efforts to support and uplift members of the Teamster LGBTQ+ Caucus. Lieb's passion for workers' rights and inclusivity drives her mission to create a supportive environment for all union members.
