President, Teamsters LGBTQ+ Caucus

I grew up in Northern Nevada in a family dedicated to hard work and the principles of respect and loyalty, with both of my parents serving as law enforcement officers. These values have shaped my professional and personal endeavors, guiding me to foster open and honest dialogue, prevent miscommunications, and seek favorable resolutions for everyone.

My involvement with the Teamsters LGBTQ+ Caucus has provided a vital platform to address workplace inequalities and the harassment that often goes unchecked by management. Together, we've made a significant impact, demonstrating that we can stand against discrimination and create a more inclusive environment. Our efforts emphasize visibility, allyship, and support for community members by connecting them with local resources.

Additionally, my work with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) during the midterm elections has helped establish crucial political connections that we plan to leverage for advocacy at the state and federal levels in the upcoming year. And yes, we still find time for bake sales!
